Sarah's App (just in case of any potential computer malfunctions)
When Sarah Jane Smith met the Doctor, she was posing undercover as her aunt, the virologist to get to the bottom of the disappearing scientists at UNIT. Little did she know that sneaking in to his old Police Box would change her world completely.
Sarah is very much your stereotypical television journalist: nosy, inquisitive, and not at all afraid to speak her mind. Right from the start, Sarah finds herself diving head over feet into trouble, not stopping for a moment to think of the consequences as long as she can help people. Or get a good scoop. She is independent, stubborn – often refusing to take no as an answer. But still, she can be persuaded into changing her mind at times if it appeals to her, as the Doctor found out after she had claimed never to step foot in the TARDIS again after their second adventure together.
Personality wise, she’s a cheeky, idealistic, and optimistic girl in her early twenties with a thirst for life. Sarah is also quite capable of taking care of herself, not needing to rely on the Doctor or any of their other companions until she gets in to deep. Even then, Sarah usually doesn’t let the situation stop her and will continue to pursue her objective no matter how bleak the situation looks. Furthermore, Sarah Jane is a feminist, and tends to extend this view to all life: it’s something to be considered sacred, and not taken for granted.
In Milliways, Sarah Jane will be coming in from during her adventures with the Fourth Doctor: used to traveling in the TARDIS by this point and not really phased by the weirdness that accompanies life with the Doctor anymore.
