The Doctor's smile was wider than it had ever been. He was quite happy just stroking her skin. Every inch of her--allowing his fingers to experience such a new sensation. He'd never touched anyone like this before Sarah. It contented him more than anything else ever had.

The Doctor had been around humans long enough to hear their terms of endearment for each other--couples, especially. It wasn't in keeping with his character to toss out 'sweetheart' or 'honey'; those particular epithets felt decidedly foreign to his tongue.

So, instead, he whispered, "Tesorina" with all the love in the world, pressing a deep kiss to her lips. He was trying so hard, and...it sounded sentimental to him without being cloying.
