I flush a little at his compliment. I know he means it. I believe it too. I've lived quite the life, much more extraordinary than most people could ever claim to live. And never once for a moment have I regretted calling it off with Andrew. Not after meeting the Doctor, or working with Torchwood, or falling for Ewan.

It hasn't been easy. But it's certainly worth it.
