[Meme] Letter game
Feb. 20th, 2008 10:18 pmIt's a meme from Ace. Ten things I like that start with the letter 'r'. Well, here goes!
1. Reporting. It's quite the obvious one, isn't it?
2. Reading. When I was a child, I found that books could take me away from Ealing. They were adventures contained in bound form and all I had to do was open a bok and read.
3. Romance. While I'm on the subject of reading, I ought to throw this one in. I do enjoy a good romance novel. And I wouldn't mind a tad more romance in my life. But I won't ever, ever admit to it.
4. Raspberries.
5. Rifles. I'll never be a proponent of death as a solution, but I have fond memories of spending afternoons with Mr Allan learning how to shoot. We aimed at hay stacks and Aunt Lavinia couldn't stand it and it was absolutely terrific.
6. Radio. I will admit, and it probably does come as no surprise: I prefer the news over the music.
7. Rain. At the very least, I think it's beautiful. It's a reminder of just how gorgeous this planet can be.
8. Running. I try to go for a jog every morning, if possible. It's certainly a bit harder when I'm on the TARDIS, but I find it very important to stay in shape.
9. Railway stations. It's a nexus point for travelling all about Britain. What is there not to like?
10. If you'd ask the Doctor, he would probably fill this last slot with ranting. He'd say I do it far too much, whenever something riles me up. Of course, if you ask me, the Doctor clearly exaggerates. At seven hundred something years of age, he's had to go a little daft.
Well, that wasn't so hard! Anybody else want a letter?
