Yes, at least he came. And he's not going anywhere, for all the stalling he's done to avoid this moment. Seeing Sarah like this, smiling at him like that, makes it a little easier to be here, too. There are parts of him that are still telling him to run even now, but he made his promise to Sarah. He's going to marry her. And he's going to learn to live a life with her no matter how much he wants to do otherwise.
He can't touch her, but he hopes his grin can reassure her.
