The mermaid moved her fingers up to his face touching his jawline.
"Stop that," he said in exasperation, pushing her fingers away.
He was still looking at Sarah, "You are insane! She is a mermaid. What would she be doing kissing me?"
The mermaids hands went back up to his face, tracing her slightly webbed fingers around in tiny circles. He swatted the hand away again, like someone who has an itch.
"Hold off," he said putting a hand up to the mermaid. She responded by grabbing his hand and playing with his fingers.
He looked at Sarah, waiting for her to explain herself.
