[Milliways] OOM: Flat 007

his_sarah_janeIt's nearly midnight according to the clock in their room. It's nearly midnight and that means that, at least in Milliways, it is nearly James' birthday. And after the week they've had, there's nothing in the universe that can stop Sarah Jane from celebrating this day.
She had kicked him out of the room a couple of hours ago, claiming that packing can be finished in the morning and that she needed time to rest. Truth is though, she's been busy decorating their room with brightly coloured streamers Bar provided, blue and silver and yellow. There are a few balloons scattered around, and a small cake on the desk next to a wrapped package and a card.
Sarah takes a moment to check her appearance in the mirror, smiling at her choice of dress (short, flattering, and blue) and her done up hair and make up. Nothing can hide the fading marks or gauze on her face, but that's okay.
Tonight's not about remembering the past, but celebrating the future.
