[Mixed Muses] A Date with Simon

The door opens to a cozy attic neatly cluttered with many assorted nicknacks. Some of the objects are easily recognisable: books, photo frames, papers, etc. Others, though, are much more alien in origin.

Sarah Jane smiles warmly as she moves aside to let Simon through. Then, she shrugs slightly. "I don't typically have much company up here."

And eventually the pleasure and pain comes to a crescendo. It is, quite probably, knowing these two, a very loud crescendo.

Very loud indeed. Not that either complains, of course.

As she comes down from her climax, she rests her head against his chest. She closes her, breathing in the scent of him.

"Thank you," she whispers in between pants.

He says nothing in response to that, partly because the words that do rest on his tongue as a reply are words he's not sure he's ready to say yet. Instead, he ducks his head, kissing the top of her hair with a tenderness not felt during their previous session of sex.

Sarah smiles at the kiss, cuddling further against him. "Can we just go to sleep, Simon? My bed is just upstairs."

"What about your son?" He REALLY doesn't want to be explained to a kid. This falls under his reluctance to explain himself to strangers--and his general reluctance to meet strangers these days, in contrast to his extroverted nature.

"He's at Clyde's, remember?" Sarah Jane looks up for a moment before resting her head back against him. "He won't be home until late tomorrow, I promise."

"Ok. You'll have to wake me before then." And possibly drag him out, because he has the impression that he won't get out of bed without a fight.

"I will," she promises, kissing the tip of his nose. "Thank you."
